Sport Oregon Announces Full Slate of Officers, Executive Board Members
PORTLAND, Ore. (Sept. 10, 2025) – Sport Oregon today announced its full slate of officers and Executive Board of Directors for the upcoming year.
The 24-person Executive Board is led by an experienced group of four elected officers, including its president, Chris Oxley (Adaptive Strategies), vice president Charles Leverton (Multnomah Athletic Club), treasurer Dave Evans (Moda Health), and secretary China Kirk (USTA Pacific Northwest).
As a member-driven and supported association, Sport Oregon’s mission to drive economic growth and enhance the quality of life through sport in Oregon is powered by its Executive Board and further supported by an expansive Investor Board. Over the past five years, Sport Oregon’s combined board has tripled in size and influence and has played a significant role in generating wins for the state in the form of purpose-driven engagement and impactful, high-profile events.

A long-serving member of the Sport Oregon board and now its president, Oxley is owner and principal of Adaptive Strategies, a consultant services company providing owner and executive-level advisory in sports, live events and venue development. An established local and industry leader, Oxley’s career in sports and entertainment has spanned nearly three decades, including more than 20 years serving as a business leader in the Pacific Northwest.

The Sport Oregon Young Professionals board now includes more than 70 of the top emerging leaders in the area passionate about harnessing the power of sport to drive community impact across Oregon.
SPORT OREGON is a 501(C6) association with 140-plus members who are like-minded in the drive to enhance the state through sport. Its 501(C3) foundation provides grants and conducts programs to support youth sports, with an emphasis on both underserved youth, young girls, and increased physical activity.
